Was it because of the sun highlighting the colours, the vibrancy of the colours, or something else, I don&rsquo;t know.<\/p>\n<p>I did feel compelled to take a picture because it brought up a lot of emotions. It&#8217;s a symbol of new life, even off a broken branch.<\/p>\n<p>I literally feel like that biggest green shoot right now, I feel like I&rsquo;m re-emerging. That light at the end of the tunnel, it seems fairly close right now. It could be a temporary feeling, but I&rsquo;ll take it!<\/p>\n<p>Acceptance plays a huge role in this re-emerging, something I was struggling with big time. I&rsquo;m learning and feel like I&rsquo;m slowly getting better at it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/wellspring.ca\/ab-test\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2023\/06\/Kristel-photo-1024x768-1.jpg\" alt=\"inline_819_https:\/\/wellspringalberta.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Kristel-photo-1024x768.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>No matter where you are in your journey as a cancer patient, a cancer survivor or a caregiver, that light will come when the end of the tunnel is almost reached, not when you&rsquo;re looking for it.<\/p>\n<p>If anybody is interested in following my journey on IG, you&rsquo;ll find me as kristel_onamission<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For reasons I can\u2019t even begin to describe, this caught my eye this afternoon.
