Dealing with a cancer diagnosis can b e overwhelming for both the person with cancer and those who love and support them. The session will help caregivers to learn more about general healthy eating and nutrition so that they can help those undergoing treatment to eat healthy and stay well. In addition you will learn about, and how to manage the side effects of treatment such as nausea, sore mouth, taste and smell aversions. The role of nutrition for keeping the caregiver well will also be discussed as you learn about the importance of staying well with healthy food choices, including tips for quick meals and snacks.
