“We made a commitment to recruit the very best, and most talented leaders to an already outstanding board,” said John Philp, Managing Partner, Fulcrum Capital Partners and current Wellspring Board Chair. “The new members bring a wealth of medical, research, financial, government and communications expertise, and we believe they will make an enormous contribution to Wellspring and bring value to our partners, supporters and members.”
Wellspring is a network of seven community-based centres across Canada whose mission is to provide the best supportive care programs and services, free of charge, to individuals with cancer and those who care for them.
“It is an exciting time to be part of Wellspring” says Philp. “Our network is growing with the opening of two additional centres this coming year; we are focused on developing new programs and services and we are investing in technologies that will enable us to reach even more people living with cancer. As we continue to move the organization forward, I am grateful to be able to rely on the advice of such a diverse and experienced group of leaders.”
