Wellspring Chinguacousy receives no government or annual funding and relies heavily on community supporters in order to provide our much needed cancer support programs. Check out some of our wonderful community supporters who connected with us this year. We are very grateful for each and every one of these groups for their support!
ORMTA Concert
Every year the Ontario Retired Music Teachers Association, calling on their contacts in the music community as well as their own amazing skills, hosts a fabulous concert to raise funds for Wellspring Chinguacousy. Don’t forget to check out this years concert at North Bramalea United Church on January 19 from 2 – 4 pm.
Butterfly/Firefly Brunch
This was the first year Wellspring Chinguacousy was one of the beneficiaries of the Butterflies & Fireflies Brunch. It was an elegant event which delivered a very powerful message in support of people affected by cancer.
International Women’s Day Celebration Brunch
Each year the Canadian Labour Congress and the Peel Regional Labour Council hold a brunch to celebrate International Women’s Day. Wellspring is ecstatic to be a beneficiary of this wonderful and important celebration.
CCV Insurance – Pink Hair
Who says work can’t be fun? Wellspring installed Pink Hair at the CCV Insurance offices in downtown Brampton. A great way to bring bring the office together and look good doing it.
Myrna Gordon Memorial Bonspiel
This annual bonspiel is entering its 25th year. Wellspring Chinguacousy is overwhelmed by the continuous support of this wonderful group of curlers! See you on March 23, 2019!
Fashion for the Cure
Looking stylish and raising funds for a worthy cause has never been such fun as it was in April at Restyle’s Fashion Show & Luncheon! Keep an eye on our website for info on this years event.
Five Senses Spa & Wellness
This June we were able to connect with Five Senses Spa & Wellness who were excited to partner with Wellspring Chinguacousy! Five Senses is giving back to Wellspring in many ways, including donating proceeds from their vending machine sales as well as 10% of combined manicure and pedicure purchases. Five Senses is also happy to provide Wellspring members, volunteers and staff 10% off all services. Thank you Five Senses for your support!
Todmorden Community Block Party
A huge shout out to community member Sandra Carreiro and her friends, family, and community members for hosting the first annual Todmorden Community Block Party in support of Wellspring Chinguacousy! A great way to bring the community together all while supporting those living with cancer and their families. Thank you for the support!
Brampton Fire
Wellspring Chinguacousy was very excited to partner with Brampton Fire & Emergency Services this October for their #PinkTruck18 campaign! Their pink firetruck was spotted in various community events in Brampton throughout the month of October. All funds raised through donations and the sale of their pink T-Shirts were donated to Wellspring Chinguacousy. Huge thanks to Brampton Fire for their support!
Chrysler Brampton Assembly Plant
Each year the Chrysler Brampton Assembly Plant invites Wellspring Chinguacousy to come in and install pink hair by donation for their employees! Thank you to all who took the pink hair dare, and for Chrysler for their continuous support.
Poor Boys & Girls Luncheon
This October the Rotary Clubs of Brampton- Heart Lake and Bramalea hosted their annual Poor Boys & Girls Luncheon and donated the proceeds to Wellspring Chinguacousy. A great lunch for a great cause! Thank you to the Rotary clubs for their support!
Salon Estilo
We were very fortunate to have Salon Estilo’s support from their annual Blow Dry for Boobs Fundraiser! Baked goods, raffles, and blow dries made for a great day. Thank you Salon Estilo!
Oscar’s Roadhouse
We are very lucky to have the continuous support of Oscar’s Roadhouse. This year they held their 15th annual fundraiser in support of Wellspring Chinguacousy! With a silent & live auction, raffles, and delicious food, it was a great day for all! Thank you Oscar’s Roadhouse.
lululemon Mississauga
We are very fortunate to have lululemon- Mississauga’s support as their “here to be” partner! One of their initiatives was a gift wrapping station by donation with all proceeds being donated to Wellspring Chinguacousy. Thank you lululemon for your support!
