Everyone Has Words
FACILITATOR: Rusti Lehay
Unleash those thoughts deep inside you often lost in the chemo haze, buried fears or numbing fatigue of dealing with or caring for a loved one with cancer. Join a supportive group, all on various intersecting paths with the Big C planting those words on a blank page. Feel lighter, stronger, peaceful, relief and/or the sense you are not alone, not really, not ever in the letting go regardless what lands on the page.
Rusti Lehay, an Edmonton Professional Writer, wrote over 800 poems through her own experience of cancer, researched over 30 books (from the alternative, to latest studies in 2003 on cancer treatments), devoured memoirs of others who battled with the crab and in using words found her own way to a stronger, more centred place. Rusti excels at creating a safe place and inspiring people to find the power in words and putting thoughts, phrases, stories, poems on the page. She looks forward to meeting you.
If you have writing you have done and would like to share, please bring it with you. If not, please come to write.
