Come join us to Start a Gratitude Journal
Most of us are familiar with journaling and the benefits to our overall wellbeing.
Gratitude Journals allow us to reflect on meaningful moments in our everyday life. While these moments make us feel good at the time, we tend to forget about them a short while later. When we take the opportunity to write about our experiences and reflect on them, particularly at times when we are feeling the impact and isolation of covid-19 we can re-experience those good feelings again and again.
Research has shown that 10 minutes of simply writing down those things for which we are most grateful for being retiring is likely give better restorative sleep.
Gratitude journaling helps us see the bigger picture in a day that may be filled with some challenges. A recent study noted that individuals who kept gratitude journals were 25 % happier than those who did not.
We invite you to join Connie Moores and Marilyn Hundleby for two classes on Gratitude Journaling. As we begin the holiday season this year it may be different for most. A Gratitude Journal can be a written reminder of the good even in this time of uncertainty. We will learn about Gratitude, understand the benefits and hopefully have fun in the process.
Please note, our programs are designed for adults only.
