Eat Well. Live well.

Healthy eating is more than the foods you eat

During these uncertain times, people are searching for information on how to protect themselves from COVID-19. The immune system is complex and nutrition messaging can be very confusing and contradicting.

The new Canada’s food guide was released in 2019 to summarize the current research and recommendations to create a user friendly tool for all Canadians to nourish our bodies and find the balance we need. These recommendations are targeted towards preventing chronic diseases and promote overall health. Alberta Health Services is encouraging us to follow these healthy eating guidelines to keep our immune systems working at its best!
