Train with us to complete the CIBC Run for the Cure
Canadian Cancer Society and Running Room are proud to sponsor the Free Survivor Training Programs. Running Room and Walking Room are pleased to offer this exclusive opportunity to women who have endured and overcome breast cancer to train for the 5K or 1K CIBC Run for the Cure.
These FREE training programs are 10 weeks in duration, starting July 26 @ 6 pm running until Sept 27, 2018, and are open to walkers and runners who are cancer survivors. The 10 week “For Women Only” Learn to Run training program is structured entirely around women’s needs and will give participants a chance to network with other women who have faced similar challenges with their health. This training program uses running, walking, stretching and health education to provide the tools for long-lasting fitness. It is ideal for women who want to set and attain new fitness goals such as running or walking in a 5km event. Registration is limited. Sign up early to avoid disappointment!
Your training program class will be held once a week. Each class starts with a 20 to 30 minutes group seminar followed by a group run.

Please note: You must be 16 years of age to participate. Youth between the ages of 16 and 18 can attend with a parent or guardian in attendance.
