Au d\u00e9but du diagnostic, je me suis dit que j’allais simplement faire face \u00e0 ce cancer et que lorsque les choses reviendraient \u00e0 la normale, je reprendrais le travail. Je ne pouvais pas m\u2019imaginer \u00e0 quel point j\u2019allais \u00eatre affect\u00e9 lorsque cela ne se produirait pas \u2013 lorsque j\u2019ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 qu\u2019il n\u2019y aurait plus de \u00ab\u00a0normal\u00a0\u00bb auquel retourner. Wellspring m’a aid\u00e9 \u00e0 changer ma vie. J’ai tout de suite senti que je n’\u00e9tais pas seul. Le cancer nous change pour toujours, mais j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 entour\u00e9 de personnes qui comprenaient ce qui m\u2019arrivait et cela m\u2019a aid\u00e9.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Lorsque j’ai franchi les portes pour la premi\u00e8re fois et que j’ai re\u00e7u un accueil magnifique, je me suis sentie envelopp\u00e9e de douceur et de chaleur. D\u00e8s lors, c\u2019\u00e9tait merveilleux. Tous les programmes auxquels j\u2019ai particip\u00e9 \u00e9taient exceptionnels. Je ne sais pas comment ils font, mais les animateurs de Wellspring sont la cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me. Ces programmes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 une bou\u00e9e de sauvetage pour moi. Gr\u00e2ce au groupe de soutien Oasis, j’ai compris que je n’\u00e9tais pas seule et cela m\u2019a permis de retrouver un peu de \u00ab\u00a0normalit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. Lorsque j’ai commenc\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Cancer Exercise\u00a0\u00bb (Exercice\u00a0contre le Cancer), j’\u00e9tais courb\u00e9e et je marchais avec une canne. Environ un mois apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9but du programme, je pouvais \u00e0 nouveau marcher sans ma canne, ce fut toute une r\u00e9ussite pour moi. Cela fait maintenant pr\u00e8s d’un an que je peux marcher droite et que je ressens moins de douleurs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

La perte de mon mari \u00e0 la suite d’un cancer a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9vastatrice pour moi et pour notre fille. Lorsque j\u2019ai re\u00e7u mon diagnostic pour le m\u00eame type de cancer rare des ann\u00e9es plus tard, cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 catastrophique pour nous. En entrant dans le centre, nous avons tout de suite \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillis avec tellement de gentillesse et de respect. Je l’ai vraiment appr\u00e9ci\u00e9.
