Inside Story: Laura Pasqualino
Laura Pasqualino, MSW, RSW, program leader and consultant at Wellspring
Laura played an instrumental part in developing new family programming for parents with cancer and their children. In addition to working alongside Lauren Bryson, program coordinator at Wellspring Birmingham Gilgan House on creating an 8-week Children’s and Parents program that meets the individual needs of both the parent and the child, Laura wrote the online educational booklet that provides parents with best-practices and good advice on how to answer questions, how to talk with their children and provide them with support. Laura is also the Family Counsellor at Wellspring Birmingham Gilgan House, specializing in working with families when a family member has been diagnosed with cancer.
