Peer Support

Talking with someone who’s lived the experience of cancer can provide you with support and give you the comfort and the reassurance that you’re not alone in this journey.

Coping Skills

Practicing Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Meditation and Guided Imagery can help you manage stress levels and symptoms, and regain a sense of control.

Expressive Arts Programs

The experience of cancer stirs up a lot of emotion. Expressing feelings through art, music, writing or quilting can offer a tremendous release and promote better self-understanding.

Support Groups

Wellspring is a safe, confidential environment where everyone empathizes with what you are going through. Through Wellspring’s support groups you can share experiences with people who are in a similar situation, and learn from them in return.

Education

Through a variety of presentations and workshops Wellspring provides practical advice on the day-to-day challenges of living with cancer. Workshops focus on everything from financial and emotional concerns to post-treatment topics.

Financial Programs

Cancer has a cost, especially for cancer patients who have to take a leave of absence from work for treatment and recovery. Wellspring offers programs to help navigate the complex world of income replacement and drug compensation programs.

Health Restoring Programs

Programs with a rehabilitation focus help those with cancer recover from the various physical, cognitive and lifestyle impacts, such as fatigue, physical or mobility limitations. Wellspring’s restorative programs help you improve your lifestyle choices to achieve wellness and reduce the risk of cancer recurrence.

Nutrition

Nourish programs, led in our state of the art teaching kitchens, provide information about cancer nutrition and the latest research in the fundamentals of good nutritional practices for cancer patients.
