Be Well Talk (Coping Skills): How to Relax When You Can’t Relax
Modern life is inherently stressful. Never before in human history has living been as sophisticated and complicated. This takes a significant toll on your nervous system. In this two-hour relaxation & visualization workshop, we’ll explore how the bombardment of stimulation affects your health and experience basic wellness tools (such as guided imagery, breath–work and simple movement) to help you balance your system. These practices can improve one’s sense of well-being, reduce stress and provide skills to help cope with a cancer diagnosis.
COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY: Please be advised, we will continue to require proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 and all public health safety measures will be maintained to ensure the health and safety of our members, volunteers and staff.
