Nourish Cooking Series

This Nourish Cooking series will focus on sugars. Sugars are a type of carbohydrate, which are broken down into glucose for our body to use as fuel. Sugars an BE FOUND naturally in food as well. Our body uses natural and added sugars in the same way: however, natural sugars have more nutrients like fiber, vitamins and minerals compared to added sugars , which are low in nutrients. Enjoy this interactive session with a Registered Dietician, that includes demonstration, food sampling and take home recipes so you know how to reduce the intake of added sugar and the use of natural sugar in your diet.
