Helping You Live Better With Cancer
It is very common for people living with cancer to experience emotional, physical and practical side effects and concerns. Oftentimes, these side effects can be overwhelming.
Wellspring Canada and the Canadian Cancer Society have partnered to provide a new self-care support program with six classes focused on wellness and resilience to those living with cancer in Nova Scotia and PEI – at no charge. Through this partnership, many of Wellspring’s unique classes are being made available to residents in Halifax, Sydney and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
No medical referral is required. Classes are free of charge and are available to cancer patients and their caregivers, at any stage of their journey.
All classes are designed, tested and proven to help those with cancer, and their loved ones, overcome the many challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis, such as:
- Stress management
- Emotional well-being
- Health restoration
- Reducing fear and isolation
- Education and information
- Transitions back into the workforce
- And much, much more.
