Halifax- Nourish: Beans and Grains

From chickpeas and quinoa to lentils and oats, this class will explain how the healthy compounds in these foods may have cancer-fighting potential. You’ll learn how to shop for, store, prepare and cook a variety of different beans and whole grains. We’ll cover the most frequently asked question about carbs, gluten, lectins and other hot topics.
Wednesday location: Sobey Cancer Support Centre (The Lodge) – 5826 South Street, Halifax.
Saturday location: Sobey’s Clayton Park – 287 Lacewood Drive, Halifax.
