Also known as ‘chemo-brain’, Brain Fog is the common term for changes in cognition (thinking) that often results from cancer and its treatments. Many cancer patients experience decreased memory, shorter attention spans, difficulty solving problems and a reduced ability to multi-task. Brain Fog is an educational program that teaches ways to improve cognitive functioning. Under the direction of an experienced professional leader, participants meet with others who are experiencing similar difficulties and learn proven strategies that can be adapted to individual needs. This program was developed by Maximum Capacity. Wellspring facilitators have completed extensive training through Maximum Capacity to facilitate this program.
