Well on the Web is an extension of the programs available in the Wellspring Centres across the country, enabling those who live far from a physical centres, or those not well enough to leave their homes, with access to Wellspring’s special brand of care and support.

Physical Care Webinars

These webinars cover a number of topics related to physical health and care, including subjects such as exercise, ergonomics, pain management and more. 

Kinesiologist and clinical exercise physiologist Daniel Santa Mina, PhD, RKin, CSEP-CEP, sheds light on the concept of prehabilitation and how patients can prepare before starting their cancer treatment.
Princess Margaret Cancer Centre occupational therapist Patricia Blinn, OT Reg. (ONT), MScOT, breaks down the connection between exercise and mental health and the significance of exercise in cancer care. She also highlights available cancer exercise programs and provides tips to incorporate exercise in everyday life. 
Physiotherapist and Wellspring exercise leader Caroline Beacham defines persistent pain and the factors behind it for people with cancer, then provides seven strategies for managing pain. 
Occupational therapist Patricia Blinn, OT Reg. (ONT), MScOT, presents on the importance of posture and ergonomics and provides advice on maintaining healthy ergonomic habits, including while using a smartphone.
Jodi Steele, kinesiologist and co-founder of Cancer Rehab Inc., highlights ongoing advances in cancer exercise, including in relation to maximum heart rate, interval training and perceived exertion.
