Anticipatory Grief: Learning to Live with Gratitude More Than Grief (Webinar)
This program is provided by Wellspring Niagara (wellspring.ca/niagara)
This is a webinar.
Anticipatory grief acknowledges the many losses, challenges, and demands that both patients and their caregivers experience during a life-limiting illness. When things seem out of sorts or misunderstood, it’s good to have information and helpful strategies to increase understanding and support. Anticipatory grief does not mean one must only live in the expectation of loss, rather, it is to find ways of being grateful for the here and now as well. This interactive group will include patient and caregiver perspective, emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and cognitive aspects. This group is not for bereaved members.
