Art Workshop: Perfectly Imperfect
Facilitator: Professional Registered Art Therapist
In this 2-part arts-based workshop, we’ll explore how to appreciate, maybe even embrace and celebrate, the beauty in the imperfect – in our art, and in ourselves. We’ll start by learning about the Japanese concept of wabi sabi, then do a series of playful creative experiments designed to help us find the beauty in our quirks, mess, and “mistakes.”
No art experience is necessary, just a willingness to play and self-reflect.
Suggested materials: paper or sketchbook, watercolour paint, pastels or markers (whatever you have at home will work!)
