Be Well Talks: Resilience or Reinvention in the Cancer Experience?
Facilitator: Claire Edmonds, Ph.D., R.P.
In this webinar we will be exploring the concept of “resilience” in the care and recovery of cancer patients. Perhaps it is a term that encourages us to be strong and conveys the expectation that we will return to normal.
Through the presenter’s work with thousands of patients in groups and individual therapy, as well as her own cancer experiences, she prefers the idea of reinvention, a limitless, dynamic process that that incorporates what we have learned from cancer and how these insights can inform the choices that we make in life.
