Oasis Art: Exploring Acrylic Painting
Note: This program is only for members with metastatic or advanced cancer.

Have you ever been curious about acrylics, but didn’t know where to start? Join us to explore and experiment with the unique qualities of acrylic paint, starting at the very beginning to build a foundation of painting knowledge. In this four-part art workshop for beginners, you will learn acrylic painting techniques as well as ways to use painting for relaxation, expression, and self-care. No previous experience is necessary.
Art Materials Needed:
Acrylic paints (at a minimum, red, yellow, blue, white, and black), Palette, Canvas paper/stretched canvas/canvas board, Masking tape, Variety of brushes, Pencil and eraser, Water cup, Paper towel
