Parent’s Support Group
Parents and children alike can benefit from a deeper exploration of the ways cancer impacts a family and for networking with other parents that normalize the experience for all.
This modified online parent’s program brings parents together, supports children through parents in talking about cancer in age-appropriate ways, and explores family-based support and coping strategies. This online program will be professionally led by a Wellspring professional family counsellor.
In this unstructured support group program, topics are determined by the interests of those in attendance and are guided by the professional to ensure they have broad application and remain within the topic area of families and parenting.
Please note: this program is intended to support parents with dependent children in high school or younger.
