Wellness Workshop: Sound Bath Meditations
One of the most important factors in maintaining good health can be offloading stress. Sound healing has been used for thousands of years to help people relax, de-stress, and connect in community. Sometimes stress can prevent the mind from reaching the deepest levels of relaxation, either awake or asleep, when our brains are normally able to fully relax.
In this workshop, participants will be invited to relax in their homes either in a comfortable seated position, or lying down on a yoga mat, on a couch or in bed, so they can be bathed in the soothing sounds generated from a variety of sound healing instruments, such as crystal singing bowls, the didgeridoo, the frame drum, the native flute, the hand pan, the ocean drum and tuning forks, to name but a few.
These sounds can quickly produce the same downshifts in brainwave activity that experienced meditators benefit from, but anyone can experience these benefits without knowing how to meditate.
You are invited to come and experience the immediate, powerful, and tangible benefits that come with connecting with others through vibration, harmony and positive intention. No musical or meditation training or experience is required.
It is recommended that participants use good quality earbuds or headphones. We will be using Zoom, which can be accessed over a computer, or perhaps more easily, over a smartphone (which allows for easier volume control).
Registration or Appointment Required: This program requires a commitment to attend all sessions.
