Nourish: Beans and Grains
*During winter months, we recommend checking the schedule before attending the sessions, as dates and times are subject to change.*
All Nourish programs will take place in Sobey’s, 400 University Avenue, Charlottetown.
From chickpeas and quinoa to lentils and oats, this class will explain how the healthy compounds in these foods may have cancer-fighting potential. You’ll learn how to shop for, store, prepare and cook a variety of different beans and whole grains. We’ll cover the most frequently asked question about carbs, gluten, lectins and other hot topics.
This is a two-part session.
