Drumming is an expressive arts technique that uses percussion and rhythm exercises to express emotions, manage stress and improve a sense of emotional and physical well-being. This group provides a community for cancer patients and caregivers to meet with one another and share in a creative musical experience. Members are instructed in drumming techniques and are guided by the professional program leader in various group drumming exercises. No prior drumming experience is necessary. Registration is required, with a commitment to attend the group once a week for six weeks.
