A popular program for many Wellspring New Brunswick members is our Gentle Yoga Program. This support program helps members enhance and exercise control over their physical and emotional well-being. The class uses yoga styles that are gentle and adaptable to the health and physical capabilities of our members.
Chantel Gaudet is one of our Gentle Yoga Instructors. As someone who has had her own personal journey with cancer, Chantel knew she wanted to be involved when she heard about the program.
“Yoga was very much a part of my healing journey. I am honored that I can share my knowledge and experience with Wellspring members through yoga.”
The one-hour Gentle Yoga Program teaches members how to incorporate gentle movement, breathwork, mantra and visualization into their lives.
“It feels wonderful to be able to provide these sessions to members. It is an hour where they can surrender and just be here in this moment. My class is very much about breath work and being present, and I can tell when members leave that they have enjoyed some relaxation,” said Chantel.
Chantel encourages those who are interested in the Gentle Yoga program to sign up. She said, “the class is very beginner friendly and is mostly restorative yoga. Everyone is welcome.”
