Cancer broke a lot of things. It couldn’t break this teenager.

“Wellspring helps me see the potential still inside of me when I can’t see it. When I feel like the cancer has broken me, they show me the teenage girl still living inside,”   – Megan, Wellspring Niagara Member

At 16, Megan was diagnosed with a rare cancer and told she had months to live. Through Art Therapy and the Cancer Exercise Program at Wellspring Niagara, something remarkable began to happen — milestone by milestone, she started reclaiming pieces of her life. Hers is a story about fighting spirit, a mother's love, and what becomes possible when a community refuses to let you face cancer alone.
