Just launched: the ultimate Edmonton challenge is here

June 6, 2025

We’re going over the edge for cancer support!

Join Wellspring Alberta on September 13, 2025, for the first-ever Skyline Rush Challenge — an adrenaline-filled urban rappel down the 27-storey Sandman Signature Edmonton Downtown Hotel.

Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, community champion, or just want to support people living with cancer in Alberta, this is your chance to make a real impact — one storey at a time.

Here’s how it works:

  • Register with a $200 entry fee (no rappel experience needed)
  • Raise $1,000 to support people living with cancer and their caregivers
  • Rappel down the building in costume (yes, really!)
  • Win prizes for top fundraiser and best costume

Rappel in style — and get rewarded!
Participants will have the chance to score amazing prizes, like an exclusive invite to a rooftop pool party at the Sandman Signature Edmonton Downtown Hotel — the very building you’ll rappel down.

  • Costume Contest: Bring the flair! Special prizes will go to the best-dressed team and standout individual costume, so don’t hold back. Capes, themes, glitter — the sky’s the limit.
  • Top Fundraiser Bonus: Raising big for a good cause? The top individual fundraiser will receive a special prize to match their impact.

More prize details are on the way — stay tuned!
