Claudia Otero, a member of Wellspring Niagara, shares how she found a supportive community and a place to call home at Wellspring.
“Wellspring Niagara affected my life in a positive way. They gave me everything. They care about me. Nowadays, I don’t feel alone. I feel more confident knowing that they are here for me. I’m very happy. I feel that I have a new opportunity, and I feel that I need more support. I found the support in Wellspring.
Dealing with cancer is not easy. But when you keep the positivity in your mind that comes back to you as strength. I know that I need to be courageous, have strength, and have a positive mind, and it definitely makes me feel more confident.
And I know that I know my body that I can deal with this fight and that I can go through this journey. Definitely, for me, it’s wonderful to keep that positive thinking.
