Well on the Web is an extension of the programs available in the Wellspring Centres across the country, enabling those who live far from a physical centres, or those not well enough to leave their homes, with access to Wellspring’s special brand of care and support.

Men’s yoga is for individuals looking to feel represented in yoga spaces and want yoga to feel more accessible for their bodies.
Justin Trottier, founder and national director of the Canadian Centre for Men and Families, presents on how men tend to grieve and suggests how men and their families can navigate the emotional impact of a cancer diagnosis.

This series of Be Well Talks presented by Wellspring London cover a variety of topics relating to men’s cancer and cancer caregiving.  

Radiation oncologist and oncology professor Dr. Glenn Bauman, provides a breakdown of what cancer is and does, and the types of cancer that most commonly affect men, including lung, colorectal, prostate and testicular cancer. He addresses prevention, detection and treatment of these cancers and the steps a patient can take. 
Social worker and field education professor Todd Goold, covers being a cancer caregiver as a man, how men can support themselves while caring for others and some tools available for addressing the challenges of caregiving. 
Wellspring’s Ilene Shiller presents on the financial impact of a cancer diagnosis, the ins and outs of the financial assistance programs available to those affected by cancer and some ideas for navigating a return to work after cancer treatment.
Radiation Oncologist Dr. Rutledge takes us through some of the residual effects of radiation and chemotherapy treatments, what to expect with physical and emotional changes, and understanding the fear that exists with the possibility of a recurrence and the question of, what if my cancer comes back?
Maintaining your mental and physical health is vitally important whether you are a caregiver, supporting someone with cancer, or a cancer survivor yourself. Physiotherapist JP Raman and Registered Dietitian Elyse Hodgins take us through the importance of exercise and how it relates to cancer therapy, as well as the significance of nutrition and balanced diets to optimize health outcomes.
