Caregiver Talks: Caregiving During a Pandemic
COVID and Its Impact on Caregivers
Sponsored by The Second Mile, Kensington Health Centre
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a tremendous impact on caregivers. It’s affected our usual avenues of self-care, the resources we usually draw on for support, and especially the vulnerability with which we feel in trying not to ‘bringing the virus home’. If the role of a caregiver wasn’t challenging enough, the pandemic has added another layer to the stress already weighing heavily. In this session we will discuss how COVID has affected the way we are able to care, while providing some strategies and insights on how to navigate the pandemic as a caregiver. Join us for an engaging session. Together, we can help one another.
