Program, Evaluation and Research Committee Members

Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation is currently seeking individuals to join our Program, Evaluation and Research Committee.

Wellspring (wellspring.ca) is a Canada-wide non-profit organization consisting of a network of community-based centres, each offering programs and services, at no charge and without referral, to anyone, with any type of cancer, at any stage in their journey.  Wellspring has been offering a wide range of professionally led programs for over 30 years.

The Program, Evaluation and Research Committee provides insight and recommendations to guide the strategic development of the Wellspring mission.  Committee members provide input and advice to the Board of Directors and Management with respect to the content and quality of Wellspring’s programs and the selection, development, implementation, monitoring and impact of Wellspring’s evaluation and research activities and to ensure that there is alignment between the programs offered, the mission of Wellspring, and the organization’s strategic direction and resources.

Potential Candidates:

Candidates are drawn from a wide range of disciplines within the cancer system.  We seek participation from individuals who can bring one or multiple of the following perspectives.

  • Cancer System
  • Hospital or Community Partner
  • Clinical
  • Research
  • Evaluation/Quality Assurance
  • Wellspring Participant
  • Wellspring Volunteer or Leader
  • Equity, Diversity, Inclusion

Term:

Committee members commit to the following terms:

  • 5 – 6 meetings per year (1.5 hours) + approximately 1.5 hours outside of meetings
  • 1 year commitment
  • Term renewable annually
