Volunteer Photographer

Location: Toronto and/or Oakville, with occasional off-site events

Reports to: Communications Team

Role Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled and passionate Volunteer Photographer to help capture the heart of Wellspring’s community. From in-centre activities to special events, your photos will help us share stories of strength, resilience, and hope across our communications channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Photograph programs, events, and special moments at our Toronto and/or Oakville centres, as well as occasional off-site venues.
• Capture a range of images, including candid moments, group activities, speaker engagements, and event highlights.
• Collaborate with the Communications Team to ensure photos align with Wellspring’s brand and storytelling needs.
• Edit and deliver high-quality images in a timely manner.
• Respect the privacy and sensitivity of those affected by cancer, ensuring all participants provide consent before being photographed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with event or portrait photography (professional or hobbyist).
• Access to personal photography equipment.
• Ability to work independently while following creative direction.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
• Willingness to travel to our Toronto and/or Oakville centres, with potential for off-site assignments.
