The Wellspring Ride for Cancer Support is a unique cycling challenge in which teams of cyclists (pelotons) ride together in pace groups to raise funds to support those living with cancer. Over eight exhilarating days, participants will ride in relay from Toronto, Ontario to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, covering more than 3,000 km of diverse and scenic Canadian landscapes.

Advanced training, some special gear (a road bicycle), and a big heart are all you need to be part of the next epic cycling adventure!

  1. Hi,

My father recently lost his battle to cancer on December 14, 2025.

While he was in hospice care, his social worker introduced me to Wellspring, and I just attended my first online grief support group, hosted by Cindy Lang in Alberta, yesterday. It felt much better to find a community to listen & talk to.

I am an avid cyclist and would love to learn more about this ride to PEI.

My distance PR is 100 KM in early 2025 around the Niagara Region, but I am open to learning more about the requirements of this cross-country ride.

My biggest question is what the expected pace and distance per day are.

    Thanks & take care,

    Rashaad
