Cancer has a cost, especially for patients who need time away from work during treatment and recovery. Other costs, such as out-of-pocket drug expenses and specialized clothing or prosthetics can add to the financial impact.
Wellspring’s Money Matters program provides individual, professional case management on the financial impacts from cancer, and provides information on all available income replacement, drug compensation and reimbursement programs.
In addition to the core case management service, Money Matters provides access to experts through financial clinics on:
Individual Case Management
Wills and Estates
Financial advice (asset management)
If you are a cancer patient who has left work due to cancer and have expressed financial worries, please contact your Wellspring centre for an individual appointment with a case manager. The Case Manager will then contact you to determine your eligibility and to set a date for your private appointment. This program is by appointment only.
Registration or Appointment Required: This program requires a commitment to attend all sessions.
