Wellness at Work: Managing Stress in the Workplace
Facilitator: Ilene Shiller, MSW, RSW, Manager, Financial and Workplace Programs
This program is specifically designed for people who have already transitioned back into the workforce following an absence due to cancer.
It is well known that stress can influence our health and ability to cope. For many cancer patients, a diagnosis of cancer and its treatment was likely a period of time that included great stress.
But the process of returning to work and being back at work can be an equally stressful time. Ongoing stress at work can reduce our ability to perform well and to deal effectively with workplace demands and conflicts. This program will provide strategies for managing stress in the workplace.
You will be able to participate in this program and interact with the leader, all from the comfort of your own home.
After signing up for a program session, you will receive an email from the program leader, containing a link to access the program at the appropriate date and time. You will also receive instruction on using Zoom with your PC, laptop, or tablet. You can also click here to learn more about using Zoom.
