Wellspring is a Canada-wide network of community-based centres, each offering programs and services, at no charge and without referral, to anyone, with any type of cancer, at any stage in their journey.
Our centres are located in Calgary and Edmonton, in Niagara, in London and Stratford, and there are four centres located in the Greater Toronto Area (Downtown Toronto, at Sunnybrook, Oakville and Brampton).
You are welcome to visit a centre without appointment. Just walk in the door. A Peer Support Volunteer will be there to greet you (weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), to listen to your story, and help you with your most urgent needs.
Before registering for any programs, you will be asked to become a Wellspring member. You do this by completing a membership form, which the Peer Support Volunteer can assist you with, or you can do this through the website. Although you will be asked to determine a locale through which you will receive programming, you are welcome to attend programs at ANY Wellspring centre you wish.
Becoming a member also means that you can register for programs online, using either your personal computer or a mobile device.
Wellspring charges no fees and receives no government or other core funding. Programs and operations are made possible only through the generosity of donors and funds raised through sponsorships and special events.
