In response to the significant and growing unmet needs of Canadians living with cancer, the Wellspring Board approved a new strategic plan in late 2025 focused on expanding the organization’s capacity to support more individuals and families, with the goal of increasing access and doubling program visits by 2030. The 2026 Financial Statements reflect a surplus and increase in unrestricted funds, attributable to the first year of this strategic initiative, in which Wellspring is raising the capital required to build and commit to programs and tools which will secure the service delivery and growth needed to reach this strategic priority.
