Restorative Areola Tattooing

Areola Tattooing is the part of breast restoration that has been disconnected from reconstruction. As a breast cancer survivor, BRCA carrier, physician leader and assistant in breast reconstruction, this needed to be a seamless journey for patients. Dr. Ginty trained with world experts to bring this back to the hospital setting with universal, equitable access under OHIP, changing the way we see survivorship at every level. Quality 3D restorative areola tattooing is psychologically fundamental to restoration bringing closure, sexuality and confidence to breast cancer patients. This is a talk of authenticity, tenacity and inspiration to patients going through their breast cancer journey.

Facilitator: Dr. Alexandra Ginty, MD FCFP CCFP(EM), Regional Primary Care Lead OH-CCO, Family Physician Restorative
