The Science of Flourishing and Well-Being: Building your Resilience Toolkit

Facilitator: Marla Warner, BSc., ACC RCC™, Coach, Consultant and Speaker

This webinar explores the core principles of Positive Psychology—the scientific study of what makes life worth living and how humans flourish. Discover evidence-based strategies and practical tools designed to build resilience, enhance wellbeing, and develop the capacity to thrive even in difficult circumstances.

Grounded in the PERMA-V framework (Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, Achievement, and Vitality), this session offers research-validated techniques and exercises that participants can immediately apply to strengthen their overall wellbeing and ability to navigate the complexities of life.

Participants will:

  • Gain an understanding of the PERMA-V model and learn accessible tools that can be applied immediately
  • Understand the research behind positive emotions and how they can build psychological tools for greater resilience, happiness and well-being. Spoiler alert – positive emotions are not the same as positive thinking!
  • Discover why meaning and purpose matter more than happiness and how to foster strength in each
  • Use the gratitude advantage for enhanced resilience and wellbeing.
