Health professionals and community partners play an essential role in cancer support through diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. At Wellspring, we aim to provide community-based emotional, physical and practical supports, at no charge, for people impacted by cancer.

Our Be Well Talks and other speaker series feature highly respected Oncologists, Researchers and leaders in the cancer and health industry. These sessions also serve as professional development opportunities.
Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation has a number of formal partnerships with national cancer and health organizations. And our affiliate organizations work closely with their corresponding regional and provincial health serving organizations.
A trusted partner in the cancer care world, Wellspring is a member of key advisory boards and associations, including the Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncology, the Cancer Stakeholder Alliance, Cancer Care Ontario, the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, and the Canadian Cancer Survivorship Research Consortium.

Wellspring has made several educational presentations at national conferences at the invitation of national associations.

Wellspring seeks to break down potential barriers by ensuring all of our programs and services are available free of charge and without referral.
While we don’t require referrals, health care professionals are the number one way new members hear about us.
Wellspring offers more than 50 diverse and evidence-informed programs and services, delivered by paid professionals. Programs fall within six categories, and are available 5-6 days per week to anyone living with cancer and those that care and love them.

Wellspring Cancer Support helps people living with cancer elevate their quality of life
and improve their health outcomes. Wellspring provides a range of programs that provide connection and belonging, ease physical pain and emotional distress, build strength and mobility, and reduce fatigue. Specialized financial, workplace, counselling and other cancer-related supports are also available. Wellspring programs are available across Canada online, and through centres in Ontario and Alberta.
