Wisdom From Nature

For reasons I can’t even begin to describe, this caught my eye this afternoon. Was it because of the sun highlighting the colours, the vibrancy of the colours, or something else, I don’t know.

I did feel compelled to take a picture because it brought up a lot of emotions. It’s a symbol of new life, even off a broken branch.

I literally feel like that biggest green shoot right now, I feel like I’m re-emerging. That light at the end of the tunnel, it seems fairly close right now. It could be a temporary feeling, but I’ll take it!

Acceptance plays a huge role in this re-emerging, something I was struggling with big time. I’m learning and feel like I’m slowly getting better at it.

No matter where you are in your journey as a cancer patient, a cancer survivor or a caregiver, that light will come when the end of the tunnel is almost reached, not when you’re looking for it.
