Our approach

Wellspring Alberta embraces a ‘Community Participatory Approach’ for new initiatives driven by community needs. We value community expertise in building sustainable cancer support networks. Contact for details.

Community Connectors

Community Connector volunteers are the voice of their local communities, and are responsible for building relationships, as well as providing ideas, feedback, and recommendations to Wellspring.

Community Engagement

Our team is available to provide presentations and informational sessions as well as attend community events and conferences to share information on Wellspring's programs and resources.

Healthcare Professionals

Health professionals play an essential role in cancer support through diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. Wellspring aims to provide complementary community-based supports for people impacted by cancer.

Partnerships & Collaborations

Working together ensures sustainable supports are available to those living with cancer. By increasing coordination and avoiding duplication, we maximize the resources and their accessibility for our cancer community.

Walking into the centre we were immediately received with such kindness and respect. I really appreciated this. I have very much enjoyed all of the programs I have taken at Wellspring, but music is especially therapeutic for me.
