Health professionals and community partners play an essential role in cancer support through diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. At Wellspring, we aim to provide community-based emotional, physical and practical supports, at no charge, for people impacted by cancer.
Together we can enhance the standard of care for people impacted by cancer.
Our Speaker Series features highly respected oncologists, researchers and leaders in the cancer and health industry. These sessions also serve as professional development opportunities.
Wellspring Alberta has a number of formal partnerships with provincial cancer and health organizations. By increasing coordination and avoiding duplication, we maximize resources and their accessibility for our cancer community.
A trusted partner in the cancer care world, Wellspring Alberta sits on the Alberta Health Services Cancer Provincial Advisory Council.
Health experts contribute to our Board and Program Committees.
We do community visits, virtual presentations, provide online training, and attend events to increase awareness and discoverability of cancer support programs and resources available across Alberta.
Physicians, oncologists and nurses and other health care professionals frequently refer patients and caregivers to Wellspring as a community resource during and/or post-treatment.
Refer your patients and their families to our online membership form or ask them to give us a call.
