Thanks to your generosity and dedication, we are proud to share Wellspring Alberta’s 2024-2025 Annual Gratitude Report.
This report is more than a collection of numbers. It is a reflection of your compassion, commitment, and belief in our mission. Whether you donated, volunteered your time, or helped spread the word, you have made an extraordinary difference for individuals and families facing cancer across Alberta.
Here are just a few milestones you helped make possible this past year:
- Expanding Access Across Alberta
Thanks to your generosity and the dedication of our incredible volunteers, as well as support from the Government of Alberta, Wellspring Alberta delivered more than 40,000 free program visits this past year. Together, we launched new outreach programs in Medicine Hat and sustained essential services in Red Deer and Lethbridge, bringing life-changing support closer to home for an increased number of Albertans facing cancer.
- Stories of Hope and Strength
In this year’s report, members like Sandy Aguilera and Lee Tasker share their powerful stories—testimonies to the resilience and connection your support made possible.
- Support for Families and Young Adults
With the generosity of donors, including the Stollery Charitable Foundation, we launched tailored programs in Edmonton for families and young adults navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.
- Caregiver Support
A grant from the Petro-Canada CareMakers Foundation allowed us to grow our caregiver programs, ensuring those who care for loved ones also receive the support and connection they need.
We hope you’ll take a moment to read about the meaningful impact you’ve helped create.
Because of you, no one has to face cancer alone.
