Wellspring Alberta relies on the community for funding so we can offer programs and services free of charge to our members. By joining an event, sponsoring someone who is participating in an event, or creating your own fundraiser, you are helping Wellspring make a difference in the lives of those living with cancer.
Organizing and holding a special event in support of Wellspring is a great way to build community spirit and raise valuable funds and awareness for support services that individuals with cancer need.
Firefighters from around the world climb Calgary’s tallest tower, Brookfield Place, all while raising awareness of the risks firefighters take in their daily work, and the presumptive cancers a firefighter faces in the line of duty.
The Cancervive Ride for Wellspring, our longest running partnership event, has raised over $2.7 million for Wellspring since 2007. Ride, volunteer, or donate to support this wonderful legacy to those living with cancer.

Hearing the words “you have cancer” is life changing. Over 60 Albertans are diagnosed with cancer every day, and 80% have significant physical, emotional, and financial challenges that go well beyond the important medical treatments they receive in hospital. That’s where Wellspring fits in.
