Wellspring Alberta offers programs designed specifically for people in the South Asian community who are living with cancer. Offered in a welcoming and culturally relevant environment, these programs provide opportunities to connect with others, learn about wellbeing, and stay active during and after cancer treatment.
Saath: South Asian Cancer Support is a supportive space for people to connect with others who understand the experience of living with cancer. Participants can share experiences, build connections and access information and support in a comfortable, culturally familiar setting. Saath is offered in-person and online.
Exercise and Educate – Punjabi combines tailored physical activity with education about health and wellbeing. The program provides an opportunity to stay active, learn practical information and connect with others in the South Asian cancer community.
Both programs are offered in a combination of Punjabi, Hindi and English, making it easier for participants to engage in the language they are most comfortable with.
