End of life and palliative care have improved in recent decades but treatment options available to clinicians and patients in these contexts remain limited. This presentation reviews recent studies on psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy with a focus on ways in which this treatment may help to reduce depression, existential distress, and anxiety in patients with a life-threatening diagnosis.
