A sign to show you care

We need your help! Our goal is to raise $35,000 to upgrade our building signage, prominently displaying ‘cancer support’ on the building, and adding a new monument sign that will be visible day and night. Your support will help create clear, eye-catching signage that makes it easier for cancer patients to find their way to Wellspring Alberta.

Imagine driving past Wellspring’s Edmonton House and knowing that your contribution is helping hundreds of cancer patients discover the support they desperately need. This is the impact your donation will have.

In Edmonton, our centre is not clearly marked for those passing by. Despite its prime location in a high-traffic area, many people remain unaware that Wellspring Alberta’s Edmonton House is a cancer support organization.

Every day, around 23,000 cars pass by Edmonton House.¹ We have an opportunity to reach those individuals and inform them of the support Wellspring Alberta offers.

I drove by... for years and until I was diagnosed with cancer had no idea what it was.

“I have heard people say ‘I drive by and see the sign, but I had no idea what Wellspring was - I thought it was a spa or something'.”

“When I had cancer, I struggled to locate Wellspring, as the sign was not clearly indicated. It is very important to have proper signs on the building. There are so many people going through cancer and they don't need to have a hard time finding the centre.”

“I was not sure what this place is. I thought you sell kitchen appliances or something.”

“Often times, people may not take the time to go online to research what our facility entails even if they see it as they pass by. Having additional signage clearly indicating the cause that we support would encourage more people to come in and get more information.”
