We all know the importance of cancer research and medical treatment. However, those living with cancer know that the steps to recovery, the mindset of living well, and the hope of living longer with cancer, all require support and resources beyond the medical umbrella. They need help right now.

More than one in two patients with cancer report they have symptoms causing distress during treatment. Of these: 45% experience depression and 56% experience anxiety. 1

With your donations, Wellspring can help.

IMG 1293

Before Wellspring, I struggled with depression for many years.

I was already dealing with disability after surgery left me with chronic pain before a cancer diagnosis threatened to take me to a whole new low. My diminished health was weighing heavy on me; an obstacle threatening my way forward.

Then I found Wellspring. At Wellspring I fall into step with others on this complicated journey through cancer, and with our combined footsteps, the path feels lighter. I don’t know where my depression would have taken me without Wellspring.

And so, I want to say thank you. Your commitment to Wellspring matters. For us members, it means the world.

“Between the pandemic, cancer, and leaving my job ... , I was in a pretty hard place – really struggling with my mental health when I started going to Wellspring in 2022. In some ways, I feel that Wellspring saved me. I had a safe place to go; I met people who care; I was welcomed with open arms.”
